CODE OF CONDUCT

While our number one goal is to laugh and learn (okay…maybe that’s two goals, but who’s counting?), we always operate within a framework of respect, positivity, and appreciation. A supportive and welcoming environment is key to making that happen, and it’s everyone’s responsibility—teachers, students, and guests alike. Anyone participating in or attending a New England Improv Academy class or event agrees to follow our Code of Conduct, helping us keep every space safe, fun, and inspiring for all.

PURPOSE

The heart of improv is acceptance—saying “yes” to ideas, building on them, and creating experiences that are fun, surprising, and engaging. At New England Improv Academy, we embrace performers, students, teachers, and contributors from all kinds of backgrounds. We’re committed to fostering a friendly, safe, and welcoming environment for everyone, no matter gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or religion (or lack thereof). This code of conduct sets clear expectations for all participants and outlines what happens if those expectations aren’t met, keeping our community positive and inclusive.

New England Improv Academy has a zero-tolerance policy towards the following behaviors. Immediate action will be taken upon any reports of such behaviors, up to and including immediate expulsion from class without warning and without a refund.
